I have a mic but i never use it. Morons on the otherside jack the sensitivity way up so that i can pick up the sound of thier tv, or they are bsing with thier friends that are in the room, hearing oneside of the conversation is annoying. I heard a guy creeping on a clearly young chick.
I generally only use it with friends.
First, I don't know how it was set up but it didn't seem to take in to account the persons skill with a blade or bouncing it off of walls during a swing. Both would effect the repair rate. At any rate the repair rate of weapons and armor was far too frequent. Like most things in Oblivion the armorer skill was broken, but that means you fix it not remove it.

DLC, Online Pass, Always Online, "More accessible", are all reasons why I'm negative about gaming. It's also why I bay far less games and have largely moved on to other hobbies.
With Ids embracing of online pass I could careless.
It has nothing to do with the quality of the game and everything to do with online pass.

If you think touch falls on its face outside of turn based and puzzle games. Then why like the vita? It's biggest gimmic is a touch screen on the front and a touch pad on the rear. At any rate you are wrong touch screens have no problems emulating analog sticks, buttons, sliders, and a bunch of shit you dont find on controllers. As much as you would like to think they don't compete every journalist, market analyst, developer & publisher thinks so. Don't take my word for it, go watch the E3 videos. Everyone called gaming handhelds "a brave move" which is a nice way of saying "wrong move". Why do you think the 3ds is selling so poorly.

All this DLC, DRM, online pass has essentially killed gaming for me. I would buy 42 games this year but due to the above shenanigans I am only buying 5.
You would think Apple would do good because consoles are closed platforms. Something apple is good at. BUT consoles are either sold at a loss or extremely expensive at launch. The first is something apple is against. The second the PS3 has shown doesn't work. So Apple is out.
